Card Promotion Program

 

Our Greeting Card Promotion Program is an excellent way to gain exposure on the Internet at no cost to you. Fair dinkum.

First, we want to showcase the talent that can be found in Australia. We’re very interested in encouraging and supporting Australian writers, artists and photographers and Australian businesses.

Second, we want to bring to the public images reflective of Australia, it’s culture, people, activities and landscape. We want to share what makes Australia one of the best places to live.

How? Simply put, we do this with our Greeting Cards.

Why Greeting Cards?

They are an excellent way to get exposure on the Internet without spamming anyone.

Not only do you get exposure when people look at your cards to pick one out, but also all the people who receive one of your cards. With at least 8 cards to a set, it's enough variety to encourage people to send more than one at a time to their family, friends and business acquaintances. Why not, they're free.

What's the catch!? Not sure you'll like it ?

No worries mate. You get to see the cards we design for you BEFORE they go online. That way we make sure you're happy before anyone else gets to see them.

Our goal is to create win-win situations for everyone. You get free publicity. We get interesting cards to add to our site. And the public gets more free cards to share with their friends.

If you are accepted into our Greeting Card Promotion Program, we offer exposure to you in several ways. (Remember there is no cost to you at all.)

1. Custom Designed Greeting Card Set
   Using your photos, we develop a series of cards for our website.
2. Copyright credits
   Photos or artwork we use will include your copyright credits.
3. Links to your website  (here's the free publicity)
   All of your cards will have a link to your website
4. About page  (here's more free publicity)
   About the Artist (or About the Business) page with a link to your website
5. Search directories
   Your Greeting Card Series will be submitted to search engines and directories on the Internet for added exposure.

Requirements

You do not need to be a professional photographer, artist or author. However, you must be living in Australia and produce work that is Australian in nature. As an example, if you photograph flowers, we prefer native Australian flowers rather than say a rose or daffodil.

If you are a business, your photos must relate in some way to your business. For example, if you are a helicopter tour operator the photos could be scenes from the helicopter. If you are a bed and breakfast operator, the photos could be of attractions or landscapes in your area. If you need help, contact us for ideas.

Please email us to and tell us about yourself or your business and what you'd like to have as your Greeting Card Series.

How Our Program Works

Email us if you would like to join the Card Promotion Program. We need either the URL (location) where we can see some of your photos or artwork OR you will need to send us at least two photos as examples of your work. If you're not sure what to send email us and tell us what you had in mind.

If you are accepted into our program, we will develop a promotion to showcase you. Just send the photos and we do the rest. Please send us the photos via email or post along with information about them so we know what each photo is about.

Then we will develop a custom Greeting Card Series using your photos and put it on our website. Every time someone sees your cards they will see your name as the Australian photographer, artist or business and they can click on a link to your About the Artist or Business or website.

The more people send your cards, the more exposure you'll get on the net. Free.

What to submit AFTER you've been accepted

We require at least 8 photos to create a Greeting Card Series. All the photos must have a central theme such as hot air ballooning, scenes around a city or location, old Aussie homes, Australian plants and animals, and so onforth. Contact us if you need some ideas or look at our Aussie Artist section.

All submissions must have your phone number, email address, and postal address so that we may contact you. The information is for our records and we will not give out your contact information without your permission.

We are not responsible for lost submissions. If you do not receive an acknowledgement from us within one week after contacting us, please email us to make sure we received it.

Submission Rights

We require unlimited exclusive rights to exhibit these photographs on the Internet as greeting cards. By this we mean you retain all rights to use these specific photographs in any way you chose EXCEPT as greeting cards (also called e-cards, note cards, e-messages or postcards) on the Internet. Those are the only rights we are interested in securing.
