Hosted by Bert Newton. Special Guests were UK star David Frost (That Was The Week That Was) and USA stars Sammy Davis Jr, Richard Anderson (Six Million Dollar Man), Florence Henderson (Brady Bunch), Mike Farrell (M*A*S*H),  Patty Weaver (Days Of Our Lives), and Bob Hope (via cable from Sydney). The Awards were televised on the Nine Network.
