1. We are one

the kangaroo and emu. Kangaroo meat is also sold as pet food for dogs.

The Australian government estimates that over 34.3 million kangaroos lived within the commercial harvest areas and outback of Australia

Kangaroo meat has some environmental advantages. limiting and reducing over-grazing while the meat has perceived health benefits for human consumption compared with traditional meats due to the low level of fat content.

2. More than 750,000 camels

roam Australian deserts and have the largest number of purebred camels in the world.

The first camel in Australia was imported from the Canary Islands in1840.

The next major group of Camels came out in 1860 for the ill-fated Bourke and Wills expedition.

It is feared that the camel's population numbered about one million, and was projected to double every 8–10 years.

A culling program was introduced in response, and by 2013 the feral population was estimated to have been reduced by around 300,000 camels.

Camels were imported into Australia from Arabia, India and Afghanistan but currently camels are now exported overseas to countries in the Middle East and Asia.

3. Australia's ‘dingo fence’

is the longest fence in the world 5,614 kilometres (3,488 mi).
It is about twice as long as the Great Wall of China.

The Dingo Fence or Dog Fence is a pest-exclusion fence that was built in Australia during the 1880s and finished in 1885.

The fence was erected to keep dingoes out of the relatively fertile south-east part of the continent (where they had largely been exterminated) and protect the sheep flocks of southern Queensland.
